Every project gets a fixed-price estimate in writing before we pick up a tool. The numbers in our service catalog are honest ranges — what most projects in that category come in at, written down before we start so you can plan around them. The few that fall outside get explained in plain language up front. No surprise charges, no add-ons after the fact.
Materials, labor, disposal, and a one-year workmanship warranty — all on one line. We itemize when it helps you understand the price.
Scope, materials grade, access (second story, crawlspace), and condition of what is already there. We tell you which of these is moving the number.
On-site for anything beyond a service call. Photos and measurements for smaller jobs. Either way, the number we send is the number you pay.

What size of job do you take on? +
Anything from a leaky faucet to a full deck rebuild. If it takes more than three weeks or requires a structural engineer, we will refer you to a general contractor we trust.
Do you work outside your listed service areas? +
Sometimes — call and ask. We cover a 40-mile radius from Wilmington and a 35-mile radius from Fredericksburg as standard. Outside that, it depends on the job.
How much will my project cost? +
The service catalog on this page shows the ranges we work in for each kind of job. For a number specific to your project, send photos through the quote form or schedule an on-site walkthrough. Both are free.
Do you handle insurance claims or work with realtors? +
Yes to both. We document with photos and write estimates in the format adjusters and listing agents need. Tell us up front so we set it up right.
Do I need to be home while you work? +
Not after the walkthrough. We carry our own keys-and-codes process, send a daily wrap-up text, and lock up at end of day. Many of our repeat customers are not local.
What does the one-year warranty cover? +
Workmanship — anything we built, installed, or repaired. If it fails inside twelve months and we caused it, we come back and fix it at no charge. Materials are covered by the manufacturer warranty on top.
How do you take payment? +
Half on schedule, half on completion for projects over $1,500. Smaller jobs are billed when finished. Card, ACH, or check — no fees on any of them.
How far out are you booked? +
Usually one to three weeks for a scheduled project. Same-week service calls when we have an opening. Emergencies (water, no heat, broken lock) get same-day or next-morning when possible.
